About this item
This Keepsake Robin, has been hand modeled from red earthenware clay, then carefully dried before a first kiln firing. The winged body, red chest, eyes and beak have been enhanced by painting layers of various colours of under glazes, then dipped into a clear earthenware glaze before receiving a second firing in the kiln. Each keepsake animal comes with its own story scroll, held in a small clay leaf, all contained in it's own robust paper fiber box, decorated with clay stars and hand printed silver moon.
