Keum boo Brooch, Handmade Silver and Gold brooch, Archaeological, Amethyst stone

Introducing our latest addition to 'The Brooch Collection' - our handcrafted brooch made using the ancient Korean technique of Keum boo. Designed and created in our workshop in Yorkshire. The technique fuses 24-carat gold to sterling silver at a high temperature and each piece of gold has its unique shape, giving each brooch a luxurious and unique look. It also features scribed geometrical lines and an Amethyst gemstone. The brooch, which is slightly domed in shape, measures 45mm in diameter and the surface of the brooch has been textured to give it a worn, aged look and a '925' sterling silver mark has been included in the pattern on the front with our maker's mark 'J D F' stamped on the back. This contemporary brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and comes in one of our branded gift boxes. We exhibit and sell our jewellery through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K., through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions and our website.
