Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.

I hate to waste fabric! This little purse was made using the remnants from previous, larger projects. I love the resulting purse; the fun print and the beautiful linen are a great combination!

This little purse is perfect for cash, little bits of make-up, or a myriad of other little treasures!
The slide motif is a print of one of my original hand-stitched designs; a joyful image stitched in black onto a natural, unbleached calico. 'Happy Day!' features here digitally printed onto a lovely neutral colour linen, courtesy of the team at Woven Monkey.
The purse measures 11cm x 9cm approx. and features a navy blue zip and matching navy ribbon strap. It is fully lined with Laura Ashley's 1980s 'Brighton Rock', a pale gold and white striped cotton fabric.
Gentle surface wash is recommended.
