Full description
This bird is hand made and measures, 5cm high and 5.5cm long. It is made from white earthenware clay and carved before being fired in an electric kiln, it is then covered in orange raku glaze which when dry is wiped back leaving the glaze in the carved indents, it is then raku fired in a gas kiln, the black part of the bird has been sanded and is unglazed and polished with beeswax.
