About this item
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. A spiky bright red and amber setting sun over a blue sea. Bright and vibrant and full of movement. The sea's waves are all cut from different types of blue glass. The sun from ambers and reds and these are infilled with a mixture of clear glass with lots of texture. The suncatcher is framed for strength and neatness in twisted wire, It is 15 cm in diameter and hangs from a strong silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top. My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different. This is the first of this design so all pictures are of the piece for sale here.
