I very much love the illustrations and woodcuts accompanying chapbooks. There is a story entitled the World Tunrned Upside Down which I find very inspiring as I adore topsy turvy, anthropomorphic ideas, and these themes are used in Montol in Penzance also. This particular one is my alter ego, GurdyBird entering the World Turned Upside Down, in a downwards motion, but she could also be flying, I have a number of similar characters being pressed!
I also make music and music videos as steampunk pirate GurdyBird, and these images will be used in my next video, "Tomorrow the Fox Will Come to Town". They will be very limited in edition, if you would like to support these projects I have a Patreon page with a number of rewards, one of which on the highest tier involves a presentation book of all of the original prints from the video and replica props or costumes.
