A beautiful portion of hand-stitched, drawn thread lace has been reclaimed from a vintage tablecloth and combined with a lovely blue, red and white, vintage Laura Ashley fabric to create this pretty bookmark. Ribbon tails complete the design. The bookmark is backed with fusible interfacing - slip-stitched in place for extra durability. Length of lace panel: 19 cm approx Total length, including ribbon tails: 26.5 cm approx Pictured, in image 5, with other similar bookmarks - each listed separately.

Bookmarks have proved popular. They are particularly easy to pop into a card and post as a gift. I wanted to use a combination of vintage fabrics and hand-made, vintage, drawn thread lace - these were the result.
