This print was inspired by the beautiful wild brown hare of the British countryside. I wanted to capture it leaping through the air, surrounded by wild flowers in a decorative garland.

Full description
A hand carved and hand printed original linocut. Part of a limited edition, and only 1 available in this colour. Printed in three spring-like colours, in oil based ink on Fabriano Rosaspina archival paper.
This is a reduction cut lino print which means the image is carved away in layers from the same block. Each colour represents a stage in the carving process, this is printed before carving again.
The image depicts a wild hare in Spring leaping through the British wildflowers red campion and dog violets.
Image size: 18cms x 8cms Paper size: 34.5cms x 24.4cms. This will fit into an A3 frame when used with a window mount.
Each print is signed and dated and arrives securely packaged.
