A unique, handmade and personalised United Kingdom string art map.

This design features a map of the UK nailed onto a stained wooden background and a heart located over your chosen city, each piece is strung in thread to bring out the map and shape.

The heart is placed to represent a special location; for example - a birth place, a home-town, where they got married, or where they met. You can choose any shape for your location - heart, circle, square etc.

This eye catching piece is made to order and due to the complexity of the design can take up to 15 hours to complete from start to finish.

This item was originally made as a commissioned piece for a customer who wanted something special for their parents anniversary gift.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this project as it was the first time I had attempted to string art the shape of a country.

I have gone on to sell several of these pieces and a couple of them have been customised with a Union Jack design and a diamond centre.

This item is made-to-order and will be posted to you by craftformers within 21 days of receiving payment.
