Hello! My name is Kelly and I live in a little village in the countryside of the north east UK with my fiance Terry and our two sons, 10-year-old Kaden and 2-year-old Rowan.
Like most people who knit I was taught by my Nana when I was 6 years old. I created lots of holey scarves and knitted my own dolly's, but as I got older I stopped. My first adult career was in a punk band, playing guitar. The two didn’t mix! I was majorly embarrassed if anyone caught me knitting so I would hide under the duvet making hats and cardigans for babies to donate.
Eventually the band broke up, like so many do, and I ditched the guitar for the needles and here I am!
After my first son was born in 2008, I became a stay at home mum, but I needed something else to do while he went to nursery. I designed my first hat pattern in April 2011 and was hooked from that point on.
I’ve designed for magazines including Let’s Knit! and Knit Now and I have a decent sized collection of knitting patterns in my repertoire now.
After becoming pregnant with my second child I started making baby clothes again so RowRow and Kades was born.
I create beautiful, lightweight accessories and garments for you and your child. Almost everything has an intricate lace pattern so if you are sick of chunky knits, you’re in the right place.
