I started blacksmithing when I was14 working on a weekend at a local blacksmiths, after I left school I worked for free at different smiths workshops to get training. At the age of 18 the blacksmith I was helping decided sell up and leave the workshop I took the the leap to take on the rent and buy the equipment I have been full time since then and thriving as a blacksmith working with stately homes on restorations, interior designers all to produce high quality items. when I'm not working i am restoring a 1994 Land Rover Defender or tacking my working golden retriever ned on walks.

Buying from me

I run a traditional blacksmith's workshop in West Tanfield, North Yorkshire. Everything you see in my shop has been hand made by me, I don't buy in components. Using mild steel sourced from local suppliers, I heat and shape metal in my coke fired forge before bending and shaping items on an Anvil. Finally I apply a hot wax finish to give the metal a natural looking finish.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
