About this item
A machine pieced patchwork quilt using the Moda 'Rosemary Cottage' Jelly Roll. (Pre-cut strips of fabric 2.5" wide x width of fabric in a complementary blend of colours and patterns). The fabric strips are sewn into 152 x 4-patch blocks and then placed on point into a pleasing arrangement. Each row of 4-patch blocks has a square and triangle of backing fabric (cream swirl) attached at each end so the rows can be stitched together to form a square quilt top. The backing of the quilt is a turquoise/white spotted cotton and an 80% cotton/20% polyester wadding forms the middle layer with machine quilting in a 'diamond' pattern. The double binding is a toning plain navy blue which is machine applied and hand finished on the reverse side. Measurements: W: 55"(140cm). L: 63"(160cm)
