Pincushion and Needlebook Set

A handmade pincushion and needlebook set. All pieces are individually hand cut. The pincushion has a firm recycled circular cardboard base covered with beige/purple/maroon floral cotton. This has a cream satin ribbon trim with three purple buttons. The pincushion part is made from cream felt stuffed with fibrefill and fixed firmly into the circular cardboard base. Three pearl headed pins are included. Measures: Dia: 3.5”(9cm). H: approx. 2”(5cm) The needlebook is a lightweight padded card folded to form a book, covered with beige/purple/maroon floral cotton. The outside has a cream satin ribbon trim with three purple button decorations. Inside the book is lined with cream felt hand stitched around the edge with blanket stitch in cream embroidery cotton. A leaf of maroon felt for holding needles has been inserted with toning colours of embroidery cotton. The book has two cream satin ribbon ties to close. Measures: Open: 8”(20cm) x 4”(10cm) Closed: 4”(10cm) x 4”(10cm) The pincushion and needlebook come in a plain white card box suitable to give as a gift, if necessary.
