Meditation Stone, Sussex Coast Pebble, Leather Wrapped Rock, Japanese Zen Stone

This palm-sized pebble was found on the Sussex coast. It has a gorgeous yellowish hue that adds warmth to the stone, which is why I chose leather cord in warm colours to wrap it. This wrap is called a wide bight and is used in Japanese basketry. It was completed with no glue; the cord has been secured by tucking the ends under the other wraps, so it's advisable to handle with care. Wrapped rocks are very tactile and are often held to keep you grounded during meditation or yoga. They also look lovely on display, especially on or amongst other decor made from wood, stone, and natural materials. This wrapped stone measures approximately 7cm x 5cm x 2.5cm and will be sent in a postal box measuring 12.5cm x 10cm x 5cm (all packaging is eco-friendly and reusable/recyclable).
