A monochrome line drawing of a Vintage Ladies Coat and skirt. In a lilac carboard mount, ready for your own choice of frame. This pretty and unique little piece would look lovely in any space, adding interest and a feminine touch. Would make a thoughtful and unique gift for any ladies who are vintage clothing lovers or the fashionista's out there. Measuring 10inches high, 8inches wide. I made this by drawing into paper that was on top of printing ink, using the end of a paint brush. this is what makes the smudge mark's which gives contrast to the sharp lines of the coat and scarf. I made this while studying Art in Edinburgh back in 2012/13. The tutors had a dressmakers dummy dressed in vintage clothes placed in the middle of the room, with different printing and drawing stations set up in all around. I found this in one of my many sketchbooks and felt it was too nice to just sit unseen, I had originally put it in a white cardboard mount but changed to the lilac which makes it pop more.
