As a Sierra Leonean-British artist, my creative work is a deeply personal celebration of my dual heritage. The true heart of this piece lies in the hair. I spent hours meticulously hand-drawing the intricately plaited, braided crown, using fine ink lines to create a gorgeous visual texture. To keep the feeling grounded and serene, I worked with a natural, earthy color palette.
