About this item
Small original artwork inspired by the cheerful yellows of the daffodils emerging all around the gardens. The yellows and greens of the petals are echoed by the colours of the books and one of the yarn balls. Meanwhile, I used the coffee brown of the jug, the lilac of the other yarn and the sky blue of the background to provide a pleasant contrast to the flower heads. By adding golden and metallic details, I gave a whimsical, magical atmosphere to my still life. I created the painting using watercolours, coloured pencils and acrylic paints on 250gsm mixed media paper and I have included some process photos in the listing. The artwork is offered framed in a 5.5inch by 7.5inch frame and the size of the painting is 4inch by 6inch. The frame can be hung on a wall as part of a gallery wall display or can be added to a bookshelf. For shipping, I will use Royal Mail Tracked 48hr services.
