Labradorite is known for displaying a spectrum of colours (labradoressence) from within the stone. Its name comes from where it was first discovered, on the Isle of St Paul near the Labrador peninsula, Canada. It’s often thought to help those suffering from anxiety. Moonstone is named after the shimmering effect that shows on the stone’s surface in light. Found in various locations worldwide although the highest quality is from Sri Lanka, India, Madagascar, Brazil and Myanmar. It’s often associated with the inner spirit and intuition.
