If you follow me, you know I love making these shallow triangle shawls combining lace stiches with texture. This particular one is hand knitted by me in milky white alpaca rich soft yarn. It is called white but it is more like a light cream. Yarn weight is aran and it has a great stitch definition, rare in alpaca mix yarns. The overall shawl is quite heavy, close to 500 grams, and it drapes. Measurements are 160 centimetres wingspan by 60 deep.

Hello Autumn! Been delaying to greet the day with that statement but the fallen leaves carpet on my driveway says Summer is not coming back. Dusk is creeping in earlier each day and soon it will be time to knit by the fire or a nice South facing window. Looking forward to evenings nestled up in my favourite chair with a cup of brew, a book and my knitting.
