This was very much an organic process from looking at a dying iris and seeing all the delicate folds and patterns in its petals.
I wanted to capture the softness and fragility of the flower whilst giving it a floaty appearance like its drifting away up in the clouds.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A lovely floaty wispy painting of an iris has been used to create this card.
I first drew the iris in ink and then adapted it with pastels and watercolours to give it an ethereal delicate appearance.
It's a very versatile card that can be given for so many occasions, birthdays, anniversary, thinking of you.... It is left blank inside for you to write your own message.
The card itself is A6 in size (4 by 6 cm) and is made by printing out a copy of the painting and attaching it to the card. I have then framed it using coloured pencil around the edges.
IT comes with its own white envelope and is placed in a cello wrap for protection. This wrap is biodegradable.
