V Shape Rigid Copper Torc Collar Bib Necklace in 3 Sizes

I have 3 different sizes of torc available to purchase in this listing, small, medium and large. They are measured in length taking the measurement through the centre from the gap in the middle (back of neck) to the tip of the V at the front. Each torc is individually handmade from solid copper wire and hammered into the V shape. Although they are rigid they are still flexible as everyone's neck is different. I find it is easy to pull the ends apart or squeeze them together to get the fit you want wihtout losing the shape of the torc. They are designed to be worn on their own as a necklace or with a pendant of your choice slipped into the torc. There are a few pendants available in my shop for you to purchase in addition to the torc, they are shown in seperate listings with a photo of the torc so you can see how they look. If you are planning to put one of your own pendant on the torc please make sure the loop/bail of your pendant fits over the 4mm-5mm width of the torc so you are not disappointed. CARE: Copper can turn the skin green when worn close to it but is easily washed off and not at all harmful. Over time, like all metals bar pure gold and platinum, it will tarnish. if you prefer its shinier look you can buff it back to its former glory using a polishing cloth. It's a good idea to firstly to give it a little clean by using either washing up liquid in warm water and a soft toothbrush or white vinegar and warn water 1:1 and a soft toothbrush. FOLKLORE: Copper is a beautiful metal with connections to Venus the Goddess of love. It is also gifted on the 7th wedding anniversary and said to sooth pain from arthritus.
