Patchwork Applique Cushion

An 18”(46cm) square ‘Garden Theme’ patchwork and applique cushion. The front panel is made up from different sections of patchwork/applique in 100% cotton fabrics in a range of colours and patterns associated with gardens, i.e. greens, browns, yellows, oranges, cream, etc. There are some button decorations to represent flowers with stems in embroidery cottons. The backing is made from two panels of a green/cream cotton canvas furnishing cotton with a centre opening and three loop and covered button fastenings. The cushion has a double thickness binding in a cream ‘garden lattice’ cotton, machine stitched to the front panel and hand finished with slip stitch on the reverse side. The cushion inner has a feather and down filling enclosed in a 100% micro fibre case (see label inside).
