Full description
A 22” x 21” (56x53cm) clamshell patchwork quilted wall hanging suitable for a nursery or playroom.
Colours are predominantly blue, white, yellow with ‘panda’ faces using black acrylic felt ears, nose and eye patches. A blue marbled cotton has been used for the ‘sky’ and has been machine quilted in the clamshell pattern. The double layer binding has been hand finished on the reverse with slip stitching. The backing is a white self patterned cotton with a sleeve along the top edge to hold a small pole or batten for hanging (not supplied). The panda features have been hand stitched using blanket stitch with details in black and white embroidery cotton. The wadding (middle layer) is a 100% needle punched polyester.
