The pattern was in a magazine and I thought this red yarn would make it look warm and cosy.

Full description
This warm cardigan is hand knitted in a soft French wool and acrylic yarn. The front of the cardigan is patterned with cables, twisted stitch and ridges. The cardigan has a ribbed collar and fastens at the front with five red buttons. The back and sleeves are worked in stocking stitch.
The yarn is 50% wool 50% acrylic and can be machine washed.
The pattern size used is for a 1 year old baby and measures 52cm round the chest, 30cm in length and the sleeve seam is 19cm.
