The Donkey Leap A2 six-colour screen-print

This is a six-colour screen print entitled 'The Donkey Leap' printed in dark green, light green, pink, teal, dark blue and orange. I have created a lot of donkey-themed prints over the years, as I feel drawn towards their modest nature. I like to celebrate them and imagine them have all sorts of interesting times and adventures when not being watched or bothered by anyone. Over the years the landscapes that the donkeys inhabit have been getting more and more surreal! In this print, the small orange donkey puts all their trust in one of 'the helping hands' to catch them after climbing on top of a strange monolith, and we see them mid-jump. In a way, it is related to my older print 'Red/Blue Donkey Regrets The Adventure', but instead of regret, the donkey is filled with confidence! Dark green, light green, pink, teal, dark blue and orange inks on Antique White Seawhite 280gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of only 18, signed, stamped, titled and numbered. The paper measures H59.4xW42cm. Hand-printed by myself in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints. All prints will be posted unframed, and securely in a card tube and sent by first-class Royal Mail Signed-For post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
