Magic Donkey No.17 A3 three-colour screen-print

This is a hand-pulled screen print entitled 'Magic Donkey No.17' printed in pink, light blue and yellow. This is the seventeenth print in the 'magic donkey' series, a continuation of my donkey dreamworld theme. Like all of my donkey adventure prints I decided to try and create a secret world that only donkeys know about. In this image, a donkey appears in the dream-world on top of a slightly confusing but hypnotic pattern of shapes, including a few familiar 'helping hands'. I started experimenting with bright colours a few years ago, within this series, and it looks like they are here to stay! The inks that I used on this print are very transparent, so you get all these lovely extra colours appearing when the layers are put on top of each other. Yellow, light blue and pink System 3 inks on white Seawhite 300gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 32, signed, titled, stamped and numbered. The print image measures H36xW22.3cm. The paper measures H42xW29.7cm. Printed by myself in my studio in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints. All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
