About this item
This mug has been hand thrown on a pottery wheel in stoneware clay. It features a second handle to help with steadying the mug whilst lifting and drinking. The handles have been lowered should you wish to add a silicone lid. The mug was dried slowly once the handle was added, over a few weeks. It was then fired to over 1000°c in a bisque firing. It was then glazed and fired again over 1200°c. Height - approx 10.3cm Volume - approx 241ml / 8 1/2 fl oz to the brim Weight when full to the brim 542g / 1lb 3/8 oz I only use food safe glazes. Dishwasher and microwave safe. Just remember that although safe, dishwashers can be brutal places for pottery. If multiple items are purchased at the same time, I will combine postage where possible. Ensuring any excessive postage is refunded. 21

Useful Information
You can cancel the order and get a refund from the maker within 14 days of receipt, provided the item has not been used. Faulty items can be returned within six months of payment being made.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
I was approached to make a double handled mug for a customer that could only find plastic sippy cups. I then received more requests with different needs and from there the DigniTEA range was created.

Really pleased with my mug! It was a Christmas present to my dad who has Parkinson’s and is making a huge difference with being able to have a cup of coffee the way he wants to. Thanks so much.
