Full description
This mug has been hand thrown on a pottery wheel in stoneware clay. I use this clay as it is a stronger more resilient clay. Making it perfect for everyday functional use.
The mug was dried slowly once the handle was added, over a few weeks. It was then fired to over 1000°c in a bisque firing. It was then glazed and fired again over 1200°c.
Height - approx 11.2cm
Volume - approx 410ml / 14 1/2 fl oz to the brim
I only use food safe glazes. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
Just remember that although safe, dishwashers can be brutal places for pottery.
If multiple items are purchased at the same time, I will combine postage where possible. Ensuring any excessive postage is refunded.
