About this item
This eco friendly wooden Rabbit with her baby rabbit Jigsaw Puzzle, has been upcycled from reclaimed wood. This jigsaw would make a lovely table centerpiece or ornament for animal lovers. It would make a perfect gift for numerous occasions such as a Housewarming Gift, an Easter gift or a Sister-In-Law Gift. The approximate height is 14 cm, the approximate width is 23.5 cm and the thickness is approximately 2.5 cm. All items to the UK mainland are shipped 1st Class Royal Mail. For all other areas or countries please contact me for a shipping price. To make this jigsaw I firstly glued several pieces of wood together and when dry, cut it to a suitable size. I then sanded it to produce a smooth finish. The design was applied to the wood and cut using a Scroll Saw. The puzzle was then assembled and disassembled to ensure that all the pieces fitted together smoothly. Each piece was lightly sanded all around to give them a slight round over effect. It was then coated in Danish Oil and buffed to a smooth finish. I am a firm believer in upcycling using reclaimed wood whenever possible. I often recycle the packaging I send out my items in. I class this puzzle as an ornament, however this can be used as a jigsaw. Children should be supervised by an adult at all times. Thanks for visiting.

Being a nature and animal lover I find it extremely interesting how nature adapts giving different animals unique skills. Rabbits were originally introduced to Britain from Spain and France. The earliest known writings were by the Romans who were the first to use walled enclosures and hutches for them. There are over 50 recognised species of rabbits worldwide. Their teeth grow continuously throughout their lives, they sometimes purr to show contentment and growl to show anger. Most rabbits can turn their ears 180 degrees and they have 360 degrees vision.

Bought 1 itemReceived my order very quickly from SharpiesJustWood, well packed too. The coasters are lovely, very solid feel to the reclaimed wood which is beautifully finished and the Tree of Life on each is detailed and stands out against the pale wood. Finished with a varnish and 'bobbles' to the underside to protect your surface. Would certainly purchase again from Steve. Thank you.
