freehand embroidered zombie chicken bag charm or keyring - PINK these befuddled little fabric zombie chickens measure about 10cm (4inches) tall / 14cm (5.5”) including comb, hanging loop & split ring. i’ve layered & appliqued hand dyed corpse grey lawn & pink cottons onto hand dyed cotton calico. the intricate details are drawn freehand using free motion embroidery. chicks eyeballs are hand embroidered. there’s no computer wizardy here, these little zombies are entirely handmade by me on a domestic sewing machine. everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand, ensuring it is unique, well made and securely constructed. the chickens are made from heavy weight cotton calico. i pre-wash all my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if a machine wash is required. they're stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852) and finished by hand. the grosgrain ribbon is securely double(triple!) stitched. the split ring is nickel plated steel. safety! please note these are for decorative/functional purposes only and are intended for adult collectors only. they are NOT TOYS – zombies are dangerous and must be kept away from small children. my design is based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, used with permission. © fiona thomson 2022
