This card is inspired by seeing the decorated eggs (pysanky) that are traditional to Ukraine, and imagining what it would be like if the eggs were naturally like this, and the birds that came out of them were just as beautifully patterned and colourful as the eggs themselves.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This card features 4 squares with different stages of pysanky hatching. Pysanky are colourful eggs which are traditionally decorated in Ukraine for Easter, but here I imagine what it would be like if the eggs were naturally like this, laid by birds as colourful as they are. The egg takes on patterns from the chicken that laid it, and the chick inside takes on patterns from the egg.
The inside of this card is blank, so it could be suitable as an Easter card or as a general greetings card, particularly for someone with a Ukrainian connection.
The pysanky designs by Kim Onyskiw are printed on a 14cm (5.5") square white card with a 270gsm weight, and it comes with a white envelope. Both the card and envelope are 100% recycled. The Ukraine inspired card will be packaged in a bio-degradable and compostable vegetable starch bag to keep it protected in the post.
If sold, 50% of the item price of this card will be donated to AUGB's Help Ukraine fund.
