I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

These classic cufflinks feature round cabochons of vintage Dodge fordite bezel set in sterling silver and finished with sterling silver swivel fittings. The fordite has a white based colour palette with close stripes of yellow, red, blue and just a little orange, the patterns almost match. These cufflinks would make the perfect gift for a gent who loves his classic cars, they measure 15mm in diameter and approx 5mm deep (and come in a gift box).
Fordite is layers of cured car paint which builds up in the spray booths getting baked hard in between each colour. The unique colour palette in this particular material has allowed me to date it to the early 70's (1970 or early 1971) from the Dodge production line - the rough I cut it from features some of the rare hi impact paint colours and you can see this and some of the other pieces I have made from it in the last photo (the rough and other items aren't included in the sale). Love Dodges but want something else? Drop me a message as I have some of the rough left so could make you something different. (Not a fan of Dodges? Don't worry I have plenty of other car makers in the stash so drop me a line)
