About this item
The basis of this lovely bauble is a print of one of my original designs; simple black lines hand-stitched onto natural unbleached calico have been carefully reproduced onto a beautiful neutral coloured linen fabric by the team at Woven Monkey. Hand embellishment with metallic gold thread and an array of sequins in gold with a touch of orange, adds a burst of colour and sparkle to the front of the bauble. The reverse is a plain warm buttery coloured wool felt. Front and reverse sides are hand-stitched together, lightly filled with a synthetic toy stuffing and a white hanging ribbon tied to the top. The main body of the bauble measures approx. 9cm in diameter. This pretty bauble would make a beautiful hand-crafted addition to any festive tree!

My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, inspired by the natural world and those important people in my life. I love the combination of image and text, so my own cursive writing frequently plays an integral part. * I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*
