Ceramic wren teapot or pourer

This ceramic teapot is made in the shape of a wren, with its beak ready for pouring. The lid or stopper is a decorative nest with eggs, and the eggs are glazed in a lovely turquoise pool blue. Full of character, each wren is different, like the birds themselves. Made in small batches, each one has its own individual personality and quirks. Hand-crafted in my garden studio in clay, the carving on the surface is accentuated by the glaze, which is almost black, then brown. This wren can be used as a small teapot or a pourer, and would make a lovely gift for a bird lover or someone who enjoys walks in nature, trying to spot wrens hopping between the trees. It measures roughly 8cm high by 11cm long. I am try to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible, and recycle and reuse packaging where possible, but not at the expense of safe travel.
