About this item
Octopus bathroom mirror measuring approx 34x54 cm. The frame of the mirror is made from hand tooled English pewter depicting an octopus along the base and quirky fish swimming along the top. I made this mirror for a custom order and it is now sold but I am happy to work with you to make your special mirror. The process I use is called repousse pewter work, I work alternately from the back and then the front of the metal, pushing and shaping with special tools to give a relief design. The whole process is entirely hand done, my work is not stamped, hammered or cast and takes many hours of meticulous hand work .
