About this item
This little sketchbook is perfect for recording ideas, notes and lists and for making sketches on the go! The kraft paper front cover features a hand cut linoprint of one of my original designs, ‘Bluebells’, with the reverse stamped with my Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch logo. The book is A5 in size (148mm x 210mm), with blank 140gsm pages. Due to the slightly textured cover and the fact of the design having been hand printed, variations in the print will naturally occur from book to book. This is all part of the beauty of a handcrafted piece! This design is available as a greetings card, as a print and on a sketchbook.

My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, inspired by the natural world and those important people in my life. I love the combination of image and text, so my own cursive writing frequently plays an integral part. * I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*

Inspiration - I am always on the lookout for a lovely notebook, generally having two or three on the go at any one time! Whilst making prints, I realised that my lino designs could give a hand crafted boost to a rather plain, everyday object. I love the way they have turned out! This particular design was created from a sketch of bluebells which I had gathered from my garden.
