About this item
After building up layers of clear enamel over the copper shape I have added a layer of white enamel. After firing that I added a layer of black, keeping it clear of the lower fin and part of the body. The copper beneath can be seen through the black and the white, giving the sheen that might be expected when seeing a dolphin in the water . The dolphin measures 43mm from nose to tail, 18mm across the widest section, across the two fins. I have soldered a 19mm brooch bar to it. The pin is secured by a rotating catch.
