Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.
With tiny scraps of lace and fabric being saved from landfill, I thought mums everywhere would appreciate the prettiness of these brooches.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Hello and thank you for visiting my shop!
These little brooches are perfect to gift to Mum for Mothers Day, Birthday, or 'just because'.
Created in my little Home Sewing Studio, in the heart of the North East of England, the brooch was made using a technique called Free Hand Machine Embroidery. Vintage lace, tiny scraps of fabrics and beads were all stitched onto a wool felt base, and finished, using a little Hand Embroidery. A Brooch Bar is attached to the reverse, so that Mum can attach it to her favourite, top, jumper or bag.
They are very delicately designed and have been stitched with a lot of care and love, so they will make the most perfect gift to show Mum how much she means to you.
