Full description
This is a unique original drawing of an African bull elephant. His foot is lifted in mid-step as he walks straight towards us, huge ears flapping and trunk waving from side to side. His tusks are long, curved and heavy, a truly magnificent sight. The strong African sun is almost directly above, creating deep dark shadows. Graphite pencil is the perfect medium to draw the textures of his wrinkled skin.
Drawn on high quality cartridge paper, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 8” wide by 10” tall (image size 5” by 7”) - that’s approximately 20 by 25 (12 by 18) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame. If you don't have space to display a large work of art, you can still own an original artwork with this small drawing.
