About this item
This curlew is hand carved from 9mm thick lime and hand painted with artists acrylics. It has been finished with wax giving it a soft shine and mounted on a small piece of driftwood. This may be just a bird in profile but it has been made and painted with the same care as the larger ones and from a distance you cannot tell that it has no depth making it perfect for a narrow shelf. It is 21cm tall, 22cm from beak to tail and the base is 4cm deep (bird 9mm deep) SN382

Curlews are beautiful but not everyone has space for a life size one!! This will fit on the smallest of shelves and still look lovely.
