About this item
Simple leather hair barrette in a choice of tan or dark brown. The leather is 3.5mm thick veg-tanned leather. The edges are bevelled and burnished to give a nice smooth finish. The stick is wooden. The size of the leather piece is 4" x 2" (10cm x 5cm) when laid flat. The wooden stick is plain natural wood and is 6" (15cm) long. The holes are 3" apart. This size fits most hair types, but if you have very thick or very thin hair, then please let me know when ordering and I can adjust the holes accordingly. Please state whether you want tan or dark brown when ordering.

Honestly? I was looking for something small and simple to supplement the more expensive items on my craft stall! And I remembered as a child always liking leather hair barrettes, but I never had long enough hair to wear one. So I did a bit of research into what size to do them, and this is the finished product. I chose a simple plain design because sometimes simple is best :)
