I regularly take long walks on Hampstead Heath in London, and love to watch the season's changing colours.
This Autumn I collected a variety of seed pods and leaves to create an autumnal inspired print.
I drew the horse chestnut directly onto a piece of lino and carved it the same day. I used a colour blend of warm golden yellows to orange and browns to depict the beauty of the colours I'd see on the heath that day.

An original hand carved and printed linoprint. Depicting a horse chesnut seed (conker) emerging from it's seed pod.
Printed on Somerset Satin handmade paper, in a colour blend of autumnal browns through to yellow.
Paper size: 16cms x 16cms Image size: 8cms x 7.5cms
Fits well into an IKEA 23cms x 23cms frame with window mount.
Printed as an edition of 14.
Each print is numbered, titled, dated and signed on the front, and arrives securely packaged.
