"A tuft of hair gotten from the head of a full-grown Brock is powerful enough to ward off all manner of witchcraft; these must be worn in a little bag made of cat's skin - a black cat - and tied about the neck when the moon be not more than seven days old, and under that aspect when the planet Jupiter be mid-heaven at midnight." Sadly badgers are under huge threats from culling and road traffic accidents but it was once said that if a badger crosses the path you have just walked on then you would have good luck "beyond the luck of men". Be careful not to let one walk across in front of you though, and if it scrapes up a bit of earth then "thou art numbered with the dead"! Protecting nature and the natural world is very close to my heart and, therefore, I have now switched to plastic free packaging. All orders will be sent in either a cardboard box, sealed with biodegradable paper tape, or a 'green' jiffy bag which is lined with recycled paper and is 100% recyclable.
