Donkey Portrait No.3 (dark blue & light blue)

This is a screen print entitled 'Donkey Portrait No.3' printed in dark blue and light/mid blue. If you know my work, you'll know that I'm mildly obsessed with creating prints of donkeys. This is the third solo donkey screen-print I have created (after 'Hello Red Donkey' and 'Mystery Donkey No.1'). The image was created initially from a brush-pen sketch, with added texture from block-printing ink and a lino-roller. I then converted this sketch into two layers for the screen-print. Dark blue and light/mid blue ink on off-white Seawhite 280gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 15, signed, titled and numbered. The print image measures approx H25xW23cm. The paper measures H42xW29.7cm. Hand-printed by myself at Sheffield Print Club, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints. All prints will be posted unframed, and securely in a card tube and sent by first-class Royal Mail post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
