Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.

Full description
Both front and back of this little brooch are a lime green felt.
The front is embellished with contrasting green and tiny blue sequins and a pretty wooden button at its centre; stitched on to the reverse is a silver coloured brooch bar.
The two sides are neatly blanket stitched together in a contrasting green thread.
The brooch measures approx. 5cm across.
