Meadow Croft. This picture was created by myself from recycled silk scarves. I place layer upon layer of silk, organza ,chiffon etc to create texture I then use free machine embroidery to add detail to the picture I added shimmer with rayon thread to emphasis the detail This picture is made as a greetings card so can be a card and a gift too. Comes in a cellophane wrapper and with an envelope It can be easily framed. Size 20.5cm x 15cm.

This textile art was inspired by the work of felt artist Moy McKay, who loves to work with colour! The rich colours of her felt paintings are wonderful and lends itself to the silks and organzas I have in my stash. I love to use recycled silk, chiffon and organza scarves in my work, which I buy from local charity shops.
