I love meadows and was keen to capture these lovely ox-eye daisies in embroidery.
Each flower head is different and is reaching for the sun
The background picks up on the different grasses and seed heads that can be found in my local meadow.

Full description
This doorstop is an original design made by myself from recycled cotton fabric
It was first painted with fabric paint to give effect of a bright sunny day in the meadow.
I then free machine embroidered the ox eye daisies onto the piece.
I then made up the doorstop, complete with handle
The doorstop is filled with wadding and rice, and weighs 0 .75kg
SIZE 15.5cm high x 10cm wide x 10cm deep
