About this item
Hand sewn notebook/journal. 112 pages (224 sides) of a really lovely recycled paper, off white with a slight fleck. The book is 148 mm x 114 mm, 20 mm thick. The hardback cover is bookcloth and an Italian pattern paper. The bookcloth is taken from an old book, and re-used. I love the title, which has pride of place on the new book! The bigger book's little companion is made from the remaining bookcloth, has 24 cream pages, and is 75 mm x 115 mm. They would like to be re-homed together!

This book was inspired by the original book that I used for the cover. It was too badly damaged to be of any value, but I salvaged what I could to give it another life .I repair and restore old books, and sometimes, after a re-bind, bits of the original materials end up in the bin. But my hoarding instinct has taken over recently, and I now save all these bits. They WILL come in useful!
