Living and working in the beautiful Teifi Valley in Wales with my partner Debbie, one totally unruly border terrier and a tabby cat is just the best it can get. We trade from our own shop in the small market town of Newcastle Emlyn, selling beautiful objects for your home and garden. An eclectic mix of restored, repurposed and handmade items with ever changing stock, there is always something you will find interesting. When finishing school too many years ago to remember I served an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker and worked in various jobs both making furniture and restoring. A few years ago I decided to go it alone and managed to find an old blacksmiths shop to rent just four miles from home. Making this my workshop seems a never ending task in between making and restoring. My partner Debbie worked in retail and design so when some five years ago we decided to take the plunge and buy a retail premises she was over the moon. We are proud of our little shop Vintique and have a regular customer base, many of our customers becoming friends over the years.
