My grandmother used to spin this type of cotton in a Yorkshire mill 1930-70's. The women workers used to lip read with eachother because of the noise of the looms. The last time I used a fab dish cloth like this was in the 80's before she died.It reminds me of her every time I use it! Simply the best!

I wanted a doily or little mat to place underneath a samovar. The samovar is decorated in the Khokloma style with bold coloured leaves and fruits and Rainbows'n'More's crochet mat sets it off perfectly.

Thank you so much for delivery my scarves to me so promptly. I am utterly thrilled with them.. They are soft and warm and certainly keep out the draughts. I gave the pink one a thoroughly good road test on my snowy walk down to the shops. I actually had to remove it at one point to cool off!
